Descriptive sentences/words in order to inspire a starting point:
The amount of interior detail in the chapel is rather beautiful indeed, I love how intricate the wood carvings can be. At first it was quite a challenge to come up with ideas from such a already refined, complex design. However, after spending probably far too long staring at the design I managed to extract the patterns that stood out to me the most and used them to my advantage.
Thought process on the page:
I used the motifs within the wood to create a strange, surreal fantasy castle or quaint cottage. And also the intricacy inspired me to design a abstract, fancy mask, like the Viennese ball costume masks.
